MEET THE COACH
My passion for fitness comes from a deep understanding of its impact on overall well-being. As a trainer I am fully convinced that a fundamental connection exists between our mental and physical states. I believe that achieving good physical fitness significantly enhances mental resilience, and at the same time that strength (or maybe even more peace) of mind will accelerate physical recovery.
Living a physically active life myself, I experience and greatly value the positives that come with being physically fit – improved mood, boosted energy levels, effective weight management, and the reduced risk of serious health conditions like heart disease, type 2 diabetes and certain cancers.
I firmly believe that while sleep, diet, and exercise are the cornerstones of a healthy life – an undeniable trio for achieving mental and physical balance – exercise often presents the most accessible starting point. Increasing activity levels can create a positive ripple effect, often leading to improvements in both sleep and dietary habits.
My approach focuses on building functional strength and core stability first, while - if necessary - addressing muscle imbalances. After achieving a basic level strength, mobility and technique, intensity can be increased both for strength and cardio training. This way I want to prevent potential injuries as much as possible when increasing training load - a good looking but broken body is useless. Building sustainable habits and empowering clients to find long-term enjoyment in their fitness journey is key for me.
